In May 2015, China officially introduced the concept of a green factory, emphasizing the construction of green factories to achieve intensive plant utilization, harmless raw materials, clean production, resourceful waste, and low-carbon energy. Green factory service integrates life cycle thinking while ensuring product functionality, quality, and occupational health and safety during manufacturing. This comprehensive evaluation encompasses infrastructure, management systems, energy and resource input, products, environmental emissions, and environmental performance. The evaluation is detailed into 26 specific indicators, quantifying the factory's greenness level with a scoring system.

Implementation Steps:

Conduct enterprise interviews and exchanges, interpret policies and regulations related to green manufacturing system construction, conduct preliminary self-assessments, and sign technical consulting service contracts with each applicant enterprise.

Service integrates life cycle thinking while ensuring: 

 ■  Collect basic enterprise information and qualification documents required for green factory application, analyze the factory's greenness level, and assist in preparing the "Green Factory Self-Evaluation Report". 

 ■ Conduct 3rd on-site evaluations and prepare the "3rd Evaluation Report". 

 ■  Submit self-evaluation and 3rd evaluation reports to the Ministry of Industry and InformationTechnology (MllT) for final evaluation and publication of results.
