On June 20, 2024, Mr. Qu Weifeng, Chairman of the Leverage Sustainable Development Committee, accompanied Lin Bin, Director of the ESG Committee of the All-China Environment Federation, and Wei Bin, Executive Secretary-General, in his capacity as a think tank expert of the ESG Committee, on a visit to Shanghai Securities Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Securities"). They were warmly received by Wu Jia, Board Secretary of Shanghai Securities, and Zhou Xuyan, Head of the Research Institute and Green Finance Research Center at Shanghai Securities. The two sides held in-depth discussions on how to further enhance corporate sustainability capabilities.

During the talks, both parties addressed core topics including ESG standards, the enabling role of trade unions, and the development of sustainability initiatives. They explored how to leverage their respective strengths to jointly establish an ESG evaluation system aligned with international standards, and how to reduce the environmental impact of supply chains through technological and management innovation, while enhancing corporate social responsibility and optimizing corporate governance structures. These strategies aim to help enterprises achieve sustainable development and generate positive impacts on broader society. Finally, the two sides also explored potential future collaboration opportunities, laying the groundwork for future cooperation. Both expressed hope to join forces to advance the sustainability agenda, set new benchmarks for the industry, inject fresh vitality and momentum into corporate sustainability strategies, and open a new chapter together.
